Disposable Cameras - "Action" Photography
Most sports photographs that you see were not taken with
a disposable camera, "action" photography is taken
with a very fast shutter speed or to get a slow motion effect
a very slow shutter speed something that disposable cameras can
not do because disposable cameras come with a set shutter speed
set at 60 which is good for the average picture.
There is a way to get some "action" into a photograph
taken with disposable
cameras, by panning the disposable camera
while holding down the shutter button the photograph can have
a sense of "movement/action", Special care must be
taken not to move the disposable camera to quick or to slow in
order to have a decent action photograph.
A disposable camera should not be used for the purpose of
taking a "action" photo unless there are no other options
available which usually is the case when using a disposable camera,
mostly people that forgot their "real" camera at home
or tourists make use of the disposable cameras.
Another reason a disposable camera is not suitable for "action"
photography is, photographers can not come up close to take the
proper photograph of "action", because the event is
being played out on a field or in a stadium where it's just not
possible to get close up, disposable cameras do not have a zoom
lens except for one Kodak disposable camera which has a very
weak zoom which would not do much good anyway.
